Bodybuilders are the fittest

Much like Amita, Kunal too set out on the path of self-improvement. As a kid, he had been a big fan of movies. Despite having a wide variety of differences and uniqueness, cinemas all over the world shared one common characteristic. The one good looking, muscular, tall and well-built hero who came at the climax with bulging biceps to save the damsel in distress and win the hearts of all the ladies in the audience. Most people realize that such god-like figures are only limited to actors on screen and to some very carefully trained professionals and athletes. Kunal was perhaps among the majority of men who admire such a physique and aspire to achieve, he was also among the smaller group who actually work towards attaining it. His pursuit of fitness turned into a desire to achieve a god-like body to wow others. He got a sense of achievement from the numerous likes he got on social media and the girls who admired him. He did not consult any trainer nor took any professional advice, his method of working out was based off internet searches and online self-experts that could only provide general help and not focus on an individual’s needs. This method worked fine for several years and he also gave fitness advice to others. However, as he aged his body couldn’t handle the strain of excessive gym exercise as it used to but instead of paying attention to the aches and pains he often suffered from he saw his weakening physique as a sign that he needed to train even harder. This overtraining leads to problems that on the surface could not be directly linked to his exercise, but originated from it. He suffered from excessive fatigue, agitation and moodiness, occasional insomnia and excessive bruising to even small injuries.  He also suffered from hormonal imbalances which caused mood swings ranging from aggressive to extreme indifference to everyone around him. Although he worked hard, his efforts provided him with a moderate middle age and a painful old age.
