Unbeknownst to each other and coincidently both Sadaf and Tanisha turned to their friend Samir to discuss their woes. He was a good friend to both the girls. Like others, Samir was also aware of the ongoing tussle between them. He took an interesting stand, he would listen to Sadaf complain endlessly about Tanisha and then provide a sympathetic ear to Tanisha when she discussed how Sadaf tried to sabotage her work. To each of them, he did not say a word about his interactions with the other girl. By talking to them he knew exactly what was going on. He would often in a fake attempt to help the girls hear the idea they had for their proposal. Sadaf promptly told Samir about her new take on managing the finances in a more efficient way and Tanisha explained to him her idea about creating the best team and allotting work maximize efficiency.
When it was time to present the proposal Samir stood in the conference hall and outlined his proposal which included how to manage the finances in an efficient way and creating a team that could provide the best results. After hearing his presentation both the girls felt betrayed and aghast as their ideas had been stolen and presented as his own. Fresh in shock neither of the girls submitted their proposals and ultimately Samir was made in charge of the project. They could not understand that the person who comforted them the most turned out to be the cat who ate the rabbit and the pigeon.
