It is safe to say that it is a Super Sunday. The week started off on the high side with loads of enjoyment and local wine sharing between the local couple. Denny and Fiona are seen exchanging sweet pleasantries of love under the lowly guava tree of their hut-like home. They seem to have put the criticism that surrounded their marriage behind them. People never really believed Fiona would settle for a poor and physically challenged man despite the long queue of handsome and well-to-do men that wanted her hand in marriage. This is not mentioning her charming beauty that will make every man steal a glance or two, and her social status as a university graduate. She however always claimed her understanding of love is personal, a goal set into the future and not the ephemeral excitement surrounded by the euphoria of wealth and romance. Absolutely, the game of love has got no rules, and Fiona seems to be sticking to the basics with her largely infamous choice. Luckily, she has enjoyed the tiniest of time with Denny.
The euphoria that trailed the budding week will soon change face and name itself to dysphoria. Sunday moved really fast and here are the couple on a Monday morning moving to shop. They had started a joint shoe business since after their wedding and this took their finances beyond poor with a promise of more awesome realities in the future. Little did they know they are set for a doomsday. A day they would never have dreamt of being alive to wake up to.
The couple were a few distance away from their shop when they saw a crowd of wailing people. They had no idea what this meant until they got close and realized their pretty little investment had been razed down by an unknown source of fire. Bitterness reflectedon their faces instantaneously but the people were quick to come to their rescue. They understood their vulnerability and hopelessness. Therefore, they began to fend for them in their little ways, but the couple knows that this won’t last forever. Who wants to be a community venture where everyone drops an investment anyway?
Sooner than later, Fiona made a bold decision to leave town in search of a new job. Luckily for her, she got one in a dial. She had to move away from town to her job’s place so she could fend for her family and ditch the status of a public liability. However the story changed when she met her handsome manager, George. They got along really quickly and she began thinking of a new marriage. She doesn’t have an understanding of what exactly brought her so close to George, and she cannot even define the rationality behind her recent actions and inactions. From this point, she gets into dirty and unnecessary fights with Denny. Soon a big fight happened between them that caused her to cry in her office on a sunny afternoon. To his utmost shock, George met her in this condition and felt displeased. This made George propose to her to have her settle down with him.
